I posted a shopping scenario yesterday but I couldn’t find the Gold Peak Tea in my store so I changed my game plan while shopping. (If they would have had the tea, I would have purchased it first…in a transaction by itself. After I would have paid for it, I would have gotten a $1.49 Register Reward which is like a coupon to use on my next purchase).
This was also an impromptu shopping trip so I didn’t have any coupons with me (YIKES!). You can use this shopping trip as an example of how you can score great deals even when using NO coupons! Here is a picture of what I purchased:
I will be going back with my coupons to stock up on more cereal and to snag some of the Mueller Kinesiology Pre-Cut Strips or Tape, a Naked Juice Smoothie and some of the children’s vitamins I posted about here!
I saved 63% using only the coupons in the sales ad (for the school supplies). I also used the $0.50/1 Nice! Trail mix 9 oz Walgreens coupon found in the July Savings Booklet making each of those only $1.49! After I paid, I received a coupon valid for $2.00 off any 5 General Mills Big G Cereals!
