Pillsbury Recalls All-Purpose Flour Due to Salmonella Concerns

If you have Pillsbury Flour in your pantry, check the “use by” date on the bag as it may be affected by this new flour recall. Hometown Food Company is voluntarily recalling Pillsbury Unbleached All-Purpose Flour 5LB Bags because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.
The affected bags have best if used by dates of April 19th – 20th, 2020. The recalled varieties, product UPC numbers, and “best if used by” dates are listed below:
This is a nationwide recall that has affected approximately 12,245 cases of flour product – around 100,000 bags. There have been no reports of any illnesses associated with this recall. You can read more about this recall on the FDA website.
