Chips Ahoy! Chewy Cookies Have Been Voluntarily Recalled

Have Chips Ahoy! cookies in the pantry?
If so, you’ll want to read this first! ? Mondel?z Global LLC, the parent company of Nabisco Chips Ahoy! and other name-brand snacks and desserts, has voluntarily recalled select 13oz packages of Chips Ahoy! Chewy Cookies because of an “unexpected” solidified agent that has had some adverse health effects.
At this time, there is no further detail as to what the unexpected agent in the cookies might have been.
The packages of cookies were sold at retailers nationwide, and all have the UPC: 044000032234 and the following “best when used by dates” (located on the top left of the package by the lift tab):

- 08SEP2019
- 14SEP2019
- 15SEP2019
