Target and Walmart shoppers – wouldn’t you love to confirm that your local store has the items on your shopping list in stock before you make a special trip?! Well before you spend time packing up the kiddos and spend money driving over to your local store, consider using the Inventory Checkers detailed below…
Walmart Inventory Checker
* Head HERE, enter your zip code and the Item ID# and then click on the Submit Query button
* You will then be able to view the price of the item, whether the item is in stock and the approximate number of items in stock
* To locate the Item ID#, head to Walmart.com, search for the item and then copy the group of numbers at the very end of the URL.
* Check out this example below. As you can see, I have searched for “LEGO Classic LEGO Creative Building Set” on Walmart.com and then grabbed the Item ID#47335830. I can then see that the three Walmart stores near me all have this item in stock.
Target Inventory Checker
* Head HERE, enter your zip code and the DPCI# and then click on the Submit Query button
* You will then be able to view the price of the item, whether the item is in stock and the approximate number of items in stock
* To locate the DPCI#, head to Target.com, search for the item and then scroll down the page to the “Other Info” section to find the Store Item Number (i.e. DPCI#).
* Check out this example below. As you can see, I have searched for “LEGO City Space Port Spaceport” on Target.com and then grabbed the DPCI #204-00-1087. I can then see that the three Target stores near me all have this item in stock.
NOTE: Sometimes these inventory systems can be wrong due to theft, loss, and other circumstances. Thanks and Photo Credit Hip2Save!
